Our excursions to the various companies on the practical weekends were also very exciting, e.g. the malt house or the hop community, and the many great discussions with the other course participants at eye level were very helpful and a good added value in this course.

Quantum technologies offer great opportunities but are still limited by certain physical and technical constraints. Thus, understanding quantum technologies is crucial to classify the current status and distinguish real potential from hype.

The most valuable gains from the program came from its rich program content delivered by outstanding professors and guest speakers. Strategic business management, innovation, financials, business ethics and personal development are now key in my role as a leader and coach. The mentoring program aspect of the Executive MBA has been a great addition to sharpen the strategic aspects of my professional and personal life.

When you join this Executive MBA program, you become part of a group of interesting people from various backgrounds, who all want to improve as professionals. Working side by side with these experienced and accomplished individuals has taught me things such as: new ways of approaching problems, paths of execution entirely different from mine, insights, and advice from sources I never had access to. The side effect: a reliable personal network, that would have taken years to build up.

The Brewer Cursus was a great success! TUM has highly motivated lecturers who are very passionate about the subjects. The topics were all very interesting. The practical brewing process itself was very hands-on. We brewed in small groups. I was able to take away many tips and tricks for my small brewing operation I am planning to expand.

The modules of the Executive MBA in Business & IT are organized in a way you can get the best learning experience. Standardized methodological knowledge is not enough. Digital transformation is complex and multidimensional and different in every case.

By combining different areas of expertise, the certificate program provides a broad, integrated and critical perspective on the diverse aspects of sustainability. The exchange with learners from a wide range of industries offered interesting discussions and practical examples. I am now perfectly prepared to initiate improvements in the area of sustainability and to find sustainable solutions for customers.

Within this program, you get the chance to work with companies and work on your projects, so that you can actually apply the information you learned in the lectures, instead of just studying for exams and putting that information down on paper.

Even though I am studying acoustics, this online course was a good addition. It was always very interesting as I was able to dive into some topics a bit deeper than in my previous (non-virtual) courses. My knowledge on some topics became more solid and detailed.

Being part of the Alumni Association is the logical post-program step to foster relations and learnings of the active studies. Every network is as strong as its members are. It is quite challenging to balance a full-time job, family life and studies. However the part-time program offered a schedule that fitted my routine, with classes once a month from Thursday to Sunday and a reasonable timeframe to deliver the modules’ assignments. The course content was a good mix between theory and practice.

The aim of the program is to give an insight into the German expertise and experience in the field of vocational education and training. Students will develop competencies in the design, administration and management of vocational training processes which they will then be able to transfer to their home countries and institutions.
