Munich Aerospace’s course “Space Safety” provides a multifaceted overview of the field. I enjoyed learning more about the topics of space weather, space medicine, and cyber security. I found that very interesting and enriching.

The Data Science program was an excellent refresher that reconnected me with the close relationship between computer science and mathematics. In just six days, an impressively broad spectrum was covered – from R fundamentals and statistical foundations to advanced machine learning methods and deep learning architectures. It is a perfect environment not just to stay up to date but to generate new ideas with sparring partners on the same level, from the same industry but slightly different disciplines, opening up completely new horizons. It was very interesting to learn about the various factors of factual and human performance requirements and their effects. Especially in the operating room, where work is often done under time pressure and with changing team members, errors can be consciously avoided through good patient safety management.
