The BIM Professional certification course is characterized by the very high quality of the lecturers and thus the content taught. It was possible to cover the entire range of Building Information Modeling topics from practical application examples to the latest innovative research results in the content of the certification course.

SITE has not only given me a deeper understanding of the core elements of successful strategizing, but has also provided me with valuable concepts and tools that enable me to transfer this knowledge to my everyday professional life. In particular, I liked the combination of teaching and practice-oriented workshops.

Excellent structuring, very original tasks!

One of my decision criteria to join the Executive MBA program at the TUM was based on the modular setup offered. The split into modules which mostly took place Thursday to Tuesday helped me a lot to manage my full-time job, focus on the Executive MBA and still spend time with my family as I have two kids.

As a transplant from California, I choose to participate actively in the Alumni Association in order to engage with the network of individuals from the university and to promote the exchange of experiences, opportunities, and connections, especially in the areas of lifelong professional learning and personal development.

The most valuable gains from the program came from its rich program content delivered by outstanding professors and guest speakers. Strategic business management, innovation, financials, business ethics and personal development are now key in my role as a leader and coach. The mentoring program aspect of the Executive MBA has been a great addition to sharpen the strategic aspects of my professional and personal life.

During my 2nd semester of the Master in Management & Innovation, I worked with Schunk GmbH, which was my first experience working in a German company. At Schunk’s R&D lab, I chose the topic which was always close to my heart – automobiles and what the future of mobility would look like. And I learned more than that as I experienced what it is like to work the German way – the sheer will to innovate and the perseverance it takes to constantly be ahead.

The Executive MBA program at the TUM has been extremely helpful in boosting my career path. Through the program, I increased and solidified my business knowledge in many aspects and improved my self-assessment and leadership skills. This brought me to the next level within the firm.

The program equipped me with the knowledge and skills for responsible leadership in a time of technological disruption – making thoughtful, informed decisions not just to navigate disruption, but to embrace new technologies, foster innovation and progress, all in an environment based on trust.

I am delighted that the new certificate program “Patient Safety” has been launched by TUM’s Medical Faculty and the Klinikum rechts der Isar in close cooperation with TUM Campus Straubing, the Klinikum St. Elisabeth Straubing and Lufthansa Aviation Training. Due to the advances made in the digitalization of medicine and the increasingly complex processes involved in treatment, the topic of patient safety is becoming ever more important in our clinics and hospitals. The interdisciplinary partnership of medicine, research and business holds the promise of innovative and dynamic strategies for the responsible handling of risks posed by modern medicine.

can highly recommend this course if you want to get a thorough understanding of the complete blockchain & DLT ecosystem – from code to governance – and explore what it takes to make it work in a business environment (spoiler alert: a lot). What I particularly liked about this course is that it was not industry-specific, which allowed me to learn how other industries use Blockchain. Also, the course provides excellent foundational knowledge in each module. The group exercise and case study were also excellent ways to apply our new knowledge and solidify our understanding of the material. Being part of the TUM TVET Master is an honor for me. Not only have I learned about TVET and Educational Innovation, but I have also created a solid network around the globe. The hybrid format has worked well for me, allowing me to balance work, study, and family time. Networking truly enhanced my Executive MBA experience by introducing me to fellow classmates with different backgrounds and languages. The diverse people you get to network with during your Executive MBA enriches the discussions inside as well as outside the class environment. This program allowed me to broaden my network and tap into the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Munich and make valuable connections.

It was very interesting to learn about the various factors of factual and human performance requirements and their effects. Especially in the operating room, where work is often done under time pressure and with changing team members, errors can be consciously avoided through good patient safety management.

Venture capital and private equity are rather difficult sectors to access. It is tricky to understand the details and the mechanisms behind the scenes without talking to experienced professionals. The CPEA’s multi-faceted approach not only provides academic analysis of the industry as a whole, but also sheds light on the complex construct from a practitioner’s perspective.

The goal must be to make agriculture more efficient, more resilient, more resource-efficient and even more sustainable. Technologies offer us powerful tools for this, but can only be successful in the long-term, if they are seamlessly integrated into everyday work.
