As technological progress is advancing faster, the ethical and moral aspects of technology need more attention and transparent, educated public discourse is crucial to foster sustainable and responsible innovation!

The aim of the program is to give an insight into the German expertise and experience in the field of vocational education and training. Students will develop competencies in the design, administration and management of vocational training processes which they will then be able to transfer to their home countries and institutions.

Lifelong learning does not end with the completion of a degree or continuing education program. Through our association, we maintain contacts, renew our knowledge in the spirit of lifelong learning and thus create inspiration for new concepts.

Being part of the TUM TVET Master is an honor for me. Not only have I learned about TVET and Educational Innovation, but I have also created a solid network around the globe. The hybrid format has worked well for me, allowing me to balance work, study, and family time. The peer and individual mentorship system has been key to maximizing my learning opportunities and achieving my Master’s degree.

During my 2nd semester of the Master in Management & Innovation, I worked with Schunk GmbH, which was my first experience working in a German company. At Schunk’s R&D lab, I chose the topic which was always close to my heart – automobiles and what the future of mobility would look like. And I learned more than that as I experienced what it is like to work the German way – the sheer will to innovate and the perseverance it takes to constantly be ahead.

The Brewer Cursus was a great success! TUM has highly motivated lecturers who are very passionate about the subjects. The topics were all very interesting. The practical brewing process itself was very hands-on. We brewed in small groups. I was able to take away many tips and tricks for my small brewing operation I am planning to expand.

From day one of my practical phase, Voith showed me that they were fully involved and that what I did was a real enrichment for them. They made me understand that my work would help the company to make real-life decisions in order to become more competitive. I think, good communication and the exchange of information were the key pillars of successful project development.

Within this program, you get the chance to work with companies and work on your projects, so that you can actually apply the information you learned in the lectures, instead of just studying for exams and putting that information down on paper.

This program has given me access to a network with extensive expertise and experience. It is the ideal space to ask critical questions, discuss current developments and think outside the box. Although only a few months have passed since the end of the program, this network has already supported me in several projects.

This Executive MBA has given me a broader overview of business practice, helped me in being more confident in my current role, and inspired me to move on to the next. The program fosters a high standard of learning by introducing new perspectives and encouraging a can-do attitude.

Disruptive technologies challenge leaders to realign their behavior and leadership approach. Using a mix of different methods, we explore what effective leadership looks like in this dynamic environment. The Talent Booster provides a space for exchange, inspiration, and sustainable growth.

At the start of our project phase at Kärcher, we were introduced to the most important people from the robotics team who provided us with the materials we needed. Through group interviews, we gathered valuable information for working on the objective questions. There were weekly feedback meetings to ensure mutual knowledge exchange. And although we could not be on site due to ongoing contact restrictions, we received continuous support.

Standardized methodological knowledge is not enough. Digital transformation is complex and multidimensional and different in every case.

I was looking for an adequate advanced training in the field of sustainability and the combination of purely theoretical knowledge and relevant practical aspects convinced me to participate. Above all, the selection of lecturers absolutely met my expectations. Another positive aspect for me was the wide range of topics across the 8 modules.

The course covered all the fundamentals and provided me with a broad knowledge base. Several use cases were discussed, and I was even able to create my own cryptocurrency with a few lines of code. I would highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to gain knowledge and looking for potential opportunities in the blockchain space.

I liked that the Specialization included step-by-step exercises and tutorials. Unlike exercises where a student can succeed by simply doing as directed, the assignments foster active learning. The assignments were where I discovered whether I truly understood the material. This Specialization produces real learning.

In a future where AI and quantum computing merge, the impossible becomes possible. This course has helped me to understand the difference between science fiction and reality.

Our excursions to the various companies on the practical weekends were also very exciting, e.g. the malt house or the hop community, and the many great discussions with the other course participants at eye level were very helpful and a good added value in this course.

I am truly grateful to the ‘Technical University of Munich’ for offering such a valuable certification program in ‘Strategic Supply Chain Management in Turbulent Times’. The course provided deep insights into concepts and practical applications as well as the analytics that will be instrumental to apply in real life scenarios. A special thanks to Professor (Dr.) Holly Ott for her exceptional teaching, guidance, and ability to simplify complex ideas into real-world solutions. The journey through this course has been both enriching and inspiring.
