Whether in short inspirational lectures or half-day course modules, there is always a great discussion based on vivid, real-life examples. This is a kind of emotional learning, not a purely abstract transfer of knowledge, as you know it from other training courses.

The covered topics were perfect for me as someone coming from another professional field. I was impressed by the variety of the course content and the professional organization of the course, as well as the presentation of many different perspectives on the BIM. I particularly enjoyed the presentations of the research work, which offered a fascinating glimpse into the future.

Quantum technologies offer great opportunities but are still limited by certain physical and technical constraints. Thus, understanding quantum technologies is crucial to classify the current status and distinguish real potential from hype.

The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning’s “Digital Twins for Cities” course was a highlight of 2023. The hybrid approach allows for effective knowledge transfer and valuable networking in equal measure. The quality of the speakers and participants was excellent. I was able to take a lot of knowledge and inspiration with me into my everyday professional life. The only open question is which course I will attend at TUM LLL 2024.

The goal of the course and our greatest concern is therefore to make this knowledge about Smart Farming and the digital transformation possibilities of agriculture available to all interested parties in a compact form – based on cutting-edge research findings, practice- as well as future-oriented.

The course contributed an important boost to personal growth, and a path to new relationships. It exposed me to a rich combination of the science and practice of brewing. Engaging on-line presentations were followed by two, intensive, on-site sessions of three days each.
