Advanced Education for Executives and Professionals.

I chose the CPEA program (VC Track) in order to deepen my knowledge in VC and benefit from the knowledge of industry experts as well as meeting peers. After graduating in 2024 I can say that the CPEA did not disappoint! It is a great program to get practical and academic insights into PE & VC from industry experts and great speakers. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers, network and work on realistic, real world investment cases together. I really benefited from the practical experiences the speakers and experts shared with us as well as from the network I built during the program. I highly recommend the program to anyone working in VC or PE who wants to further improve their skills/ knowledge and enhance their network to peers.

One of my decision criteria to join the Executive MBA program at the TUM was based on the modular setup offered. The split into modules which mostly took place Thursday to Tuesday helped me a lot to manage my full-time job, focus on the Executive MBA and still spend time with my family as I have two kids.

The course is for the Ag professionals from the Ag professionals. It is a perfect environment not just to stay up to date but to generate new ideas with sparring partners on the same level, from the same industry but slightly different disciplines, opening up completely new horizons. I enjoyed every second of it!

When you join this Executive MBA program, you become part of a group of interesting people from various backgrounds, who all want to improve as professionals. Working side by side with these experienced and accomplished individuals has taught me things such as: new ways of approaching problems, paths of execution entirely different from mine, insights, and advice from sources I never had access to. The side effect: a reliable personal network, that would have taken years to build up.

Even though I am studying acoustics, this online course was a good addition. It was always very interesting as I was able to dive into some topics a bit deeper than in my previous (non-virtual) courses. My knowledge on some topics became more solid and detailed.

I found the exchange with top experts from the German BIM landscape, as well as with the course participants, stimulating, interesting and informative. The organizers mastered the balancing act between content transfer, workshops and informal discussions wonderfully.

Functional integration, resource conservation, lightweight construction and highly complex component designs – these features characterize additive manufacturing processes. Consequently, additive manufacturing processes are ideal technologies for sustainable and green production. In order to be able to leverage this sustainability potential, an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing processes is essential.

The Double Degree with HEC Paris offers the perfect mix of management theory and practice. The coursework teaches important theories and frameworks, for example identifying trends in the market and creating solutions for these opportunities. Networking during and after my study experience in Paris and Munich was extremely beneficial for both my personal and professional development.

Venture capital and private equity are rather difficult sectors to access. It is tricky to understand the details and the mechanisms behind the scenes without talking to experienced professionals. The CPEA’s multi-faceted approach not only provides academic analysis of the industry as a whole, but also sheds light on the complex construct from a practitioner’s perspective.

I was impressed by the variety of the course content and the professional organization of the course, as well as the presentation of many different perspectives on the BIM. I particularly enjoyed the presentations of the research work, which offered a fascinating glimpse into the future.

From day one of my practical phase, Voith showed me that they were fully involved and that what I did was a real enrichment for them. They made me understand that my work would help the company to make real-life decisions in order to become more competitive. I think, good communication and the exchange of information were the key pillars of successful project development.

Fostering and developing the EMBA network is an important value for me. After all, the personal contacts and friendships are one of the most valuable things I got out of my EMBA studies. Therefore, it is only logical for me to get involved in the Alumni Association and to help keep the alumni network alive and active.

Within this program, you get the chance to work with companies and work on your projects, so that you can actually apply the information you learned in the lectures, instead of just studying for exams and putting that information down on paper.

The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning’s “Digital Twins for Cities” course was a highlight of 2023. The hybrid approach allows for effective knowledge transfer and valuable networking in equal measure. The quality of the speakers and participants was excellent. I was able to take a lot of knowledge and inspiration with me into my everyday professional life. The only open question is which course I will attend at TUM LLL 2024.

The course was extremely well-designed and useful. I have been writing academic papers for several years and yet, in each video, there was something new to learn. Thank you, teachers. I am presently doing a report for the World Bank and I find that the entire course has been extremely helpful, especially the sections on genre, cohesion, nominalisations, active and passive voice, credibility and formal writing. A huge thanks to those who designed the course, presented the videos and planned the exercises.

I did not know that the Internet had such a brilliant architecture! The knowledge from this course helps me not only with computer networks but also with scaling large software systems.

The covered topics were perfect for me as someone coming from another professional field. Exactly the right mix of praxis relevant information for the daily brewing process, but also with a solid foundation of science to help to truly understand the entire process. The lectures were all well prepared, very competent and engaged with great passion. The organization was perfect, as was the atmosphere during the course.

The aim of the program is to give an insight into the German expertise and experience in the field of vocational education and training. Students will develop competencies in the design, administration and management of vocational training processes which they will then be able to transfer to their home countries and institutions.
