Theory and practice turned out to be very well-connected, especially during the team project. It changed the way I communicate with my customers today and how I listen to market needs between the lines. Other big learnings came from my peers. What an outstanding course. The instructors make the videos engaging and convey the topics in a much more interesting manner than any other computer science lecturer I’ve ever seen. The “BIM Professional” course enabled me to acquire a comprehensive and very solid technical foundation in a short space of time. I particularly liked the interdisciplinary approach and learning in an interesting small group. The lecturers are excellent and highly motivated.

The course is for the Ag professionals from the Ag professionals. It is a perfect environment not just to stay up to date but to generate new ideas with sparring partners on the same level, from the same industry but slightly different disciplines, opening up completely new horizons. I enjoyed every second of it!

In the joint DVFA and TUM course, participants not only gain a comprehensive insight into current trends in the field of sustainable investing, but also learn practical tools: This allows companies and projects to be directly assessed for sustainability and investment opportunities to be analyzed.

I found the exchange with top experts from the German BIM landscape, as well as with the course participants, stimulating, interesting and informative. The organizers mastered the balancing act between content transfer, workshops and informal discussions wonderfully.

One of my decision criteria to join the Executive MBA program at the TUM was based on the modular setup offered. The split into modules which mostly took place Thursday to Tuesday helped me a lot to manage my full-time job, focus on the Executive MBA and still spend time with my family as I have two kids.

I am delighted that the new certificate program “Patient Safety” has been launched by TUM’s Medical Faculty and the Klinikum rechts der Isar in close cooperation with TUM Campus Straubing, the Klinikum St. Elisabeth Straubing and Lufthansa Aviation Training. Due to the advances made in the digitalization of medicine and the increasingly complex processes involved in treatment, the topic of patient safety is becoming ever more important in our clinics and hospitals. The interdisciplinary partnership of medicine, research and business holds the promise of innovative and dynamic strategies for the responsible handling of risks posed by modern medicine.

Receiving the Christoph Herrlich Scholarship from the TUM EMBA Alumni Association not only helped reduce the cost of my self-funded studies, but also reaffirmed for me the values of community spirit and commitment within the alumni community, of which I am now a proud member. I am very grateful for the financial support. Through interactions with the other scholarship recipients and the board members of the Alumni Association, I also feel even more connected to the community’s international professional network.

The course was very intensive. It covered all aspects of urban mobility and related technical aspects. The professors, who are from reputed universities, made the chapters cohesive, conceptual and practical so that the students are able to understand the circumstances, past, present and future scenario of urban mobility in an industrialized environment.

As a transplant from California, I choose to participate actively in the Alumni Association in order to engage with the network of individuals from the university and to promote the exchange of experiences, opportunities, and connections, especially in the areas of lifelong professional learning and personal development.

The Double Degree with HEC Paris offers the perfect mix of management theory and practice. The coursework teaches important theories and frameworks, for example identifying trends in the market and creating solutions for these opportunities. Networking during and after my study experience in Paris and Munich was extremely beneficial for both my personal and professional development.

I am truly grateful to the ‘Technical University of Munich’ for offering such a valuable certification program in ‘Strategic Supply Chain Management in Turbulent Times’. The course provided deep insights into concepts and practical applications as well as the analytics that will be instrumental to apply in real life scenarios.
