The Munich Aerospace online course “Space Safety” brings together the knowledge of experts at world-class institutes like the European Space Agency, the German Aerospace Center, the Technical University Munich, and the LMU University Hospital of Munich.

It is one of the best-organized MOOCs I have ever had. The instructors made a huge effort to provide material suitable for students from diverse backgrounds. There are required (core) videos suitable for everyone. The quizzes are not just testing your memorization skills (like other courses I had) but are testing your understanding and help you understand the material in-depth!

During my studies, I was able to understand what type of leader I am and how to make a real impact on my team and my stakeholders. Most importantly, I learned how to support my team members, help them grow and become the best version of themselves.

Being part of the TUM TVET Master is an honor for me. Not only have I learned about TVET and Educational Innovation, but I have also created a solid network around the globe. The hybrid format has worked well for me, allowing me to balance work, study, and family time. The peer and individual mentorship system has been key to maximizing my learning opportunities and achieving my Master’s degree.

I was looking for an adequate advanced training in the field of sustainability and the combination of purely theoretical knowledge and relevant practical aspects convinced me to participate. Above all, the selection of lecturers absolutely met my expectations. Another positive aspect for me was the wide range of topics across the 8 modules.

Timber construction has the potential to be recyclable. We show which aspects of degradability are crucial for this and how they can be integrated into design and planning strategies.

Not only did this specialization teach me the proper techniques of accounting and the different methods of preparing an income statement, it also taught me how to learn independently, how to persevere with a problem to find ways of solving it, and perhaps most significantly, enabled me to continue to develop my accounting skills.

SITE has not only given me a deeper understanding of the core elements of successful strategizing, but has also provided me with valuable concepts and tools that enable me to transfer this knowledge to my everyday professional life. In particular, I liked the combination of teaching and practice-oriented workshops.

I did not know that the Internet had such a brilliant architecture! The knowledge from this course helps me not only with computer networks but also with scaling large software systems.

I liked how much passion, humor, and interest in really getting the contents across went into this course. It was very interesting to learn about the various factors of factual and human performance requirements and their effects. Especially in the operating room, where work is often done under time pressure and with changing team members, errors can be consciously avoided through good patient safety management.

Progressive digitization in all areas of society also opens up numerous new attack surfaces. Comprehensive knowledge — both theoretical and practical — is needed to protect the entire digital infrastructure. This will enable us to transition to a secure digital society.

At the start of our project phase at Kärcher, we were introduced to the most important people from the robotics team who provided us with the materials we needed. Through group interviews, we gathered valuable information for working on the objective questions. There were weekly feedback meetings to ensure mutual knowledge exchange. And although we could not be on site due to ongoing contact restrictions, we received continuous support.

Being part of the Alumni Association is the logical post-program step to foster relations and learnings of the active studies. Every network is as strong as its members are. As a coopted member of the Alumni Board, I want to contribute with my work to motivate fellow students and Alumni to engage in and initiate own alumni networking actions.

Whether in the classroom or virtually, our goal is the same – to enable our students to drive forward digitization and the use of new technologies, to build a network in which they can thrive, and to impart proven leadership qualities that will give them the tools they need to position their company sustainably in the marketplace.

Participating in this program stands out as the best highlight in my professional journey. The global network of diverse students, guidance from insightful mentors, and the program’s focus on innovation have profoundly enhanced my professional growth. The Double Degree with HEC Paris offers the perfect mix of management theory and practice. The coursework teaches important theories and frameworks, for example identifying trends in the market and creating solutions for these opportunities. Networking during and after my study experience in Paris and Munich was extremely beneficial for both my personal and professional development.

The course contributed an important boost to personal growth, and a path to new relationships. It exposed me to a rich combination of the science and practice of brewing. Engaging on-line presentations were followed by two, intensive, on-site sessions of three days each.
