Being part of the Alumni Association is the logical post-program step to foster relations and learnings of the active studies. Every network is as strong as its members are. As a coopted member of the Alumni Board, I want to contribute with my work to motivate fellow students and Alumni to engage in and initiate own alumni networking actions.

Within this program, you get the chance to work with companies and work on your projects, so that you can actually apply the information you learned in the lectures, instead of just studying for exams and putting that information down on paper.

As a transplant from California, I choose to participate actively in the Alumni Association in order to engage with the network of individuals from the university and to promote the exchange of experiences, opportunities, and connections, especially in the areas of lifelong professional learning and personal development.

This certificate is characterized by a close integration of practical experience with current scientific findings. In the joint DVFA and TUM course, participants not only gain a comprehensive insight into current trends in the field of sustainable investing, but also learn practical tools: This allows companies and projects to be directly assessed for sustainability and investment opportunities to be analyzed.

Being part of the TUM TVET Master is an honor for me. Not only have I learned about TVET and Educational Innovation, but I have also created a solid network around the globe. The hybrid format has worked well for me, allowing me to balance work, study, and family time. The peer and individual mentorship system has been key to maximizing my learning opportunities and achieving my Master’s degree.

The goal of the course and our greatest concern is therefore to make this knowledge about Smart Farming and the digital transformation possibilities of agriculture available to all interested parties in a compact form – based on cutting-edge research findings, practice- as well as future-oriented.

It is quite challenging to balance a full-time job, family life and studies. However the part-time program offered a schedule that fitted my routine, with classes once a month from Thursday to Sunday and a reasonable timeframe to deliver the modules’ assignments. The course content was a good mix between theory and practice.

The Executive MBA in Business & IT enables me to connect, learn, exchange, and grow alongside a group of talented professionals. The exposure to colleagues coming from different industries and working for market leaders is definitely a great opportunity I am benefiting from during my program. The aim of our work is therefore to highlight concepts for implementing a positive ecological footprint in the building sector.

Participating in this program stands out as the best highlight in my professional journey. The global network of diverse students, guidance from insightful mentors, and the program’s focus on innovation have profoundly enhanced my professional growth. Additive manufacturing in its already great diversity makes it possible to get from a product idea to a finished product in record time. In addition, layer-by-layer construction can create structures with the most complex geometries, in multi-material construction or with integrated functionalities, which would not be so easy to realize with conventional technologies.

The aim of the program is to give an insight into the German expertise and experience in the field of vocational education and training. Students will develop competencies in the design, administration and management of vocational training processes which they will then be able to transfer to their home countries and institutions.

It is one of the best-organized MOOCs I have ever had. The instructors made a huge effort to provide material suitable for students from diverse backgrounds. There are required (core) videos suitable for everyone. The quizzes are not just testing your memorization skills (like other courses I had) but are testing your understanding and help you understand the material in-depth!
