Previous approaches in the area of patient safety have been primarily characterized by reacting to errors in order to avoid them in the future. However, patient safety concerns much more than just avoiding errors and certain complications. Rather, patient safety must be understood as an inherent characteristic of teams and organizations.

The course covered all the fundamentals and provided me with a broad knowledge base. Several use cases were discussed, and I was even able to create my own cryptocurrency with a few lines of code. I would highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to gain knowledge and looking for potential opportunities in the blockchain space.

The most valuable gains from the program came from its rich program content delivered by outstanding professors and guest speakers. Strategic business management, innovation, financials, business ethics and personal development are now key in my role as a leader and coach. The “BIM Professional” course enabled me to acquire a comprehensive and very solid technical foundation in a short space of time. I particularly liked the interdisciplinary approach and learning in an interesting small group. The lecturers are excellent and highly motivated.

It was very interesting to learn about the various factors of factual and human performance requirements and their effects. Especially in the operating room, where work is often done under time pressure and with changing team members, errors can be consciously avoided through good patient safety management.

What an outstanding course. The instructors make the videos engaging and convey the topics in a much more interesting manner than any other computer science lecturer I’ve ever seen. The course is structured very cleverly as well, with multiple video paths that you can take depending on how much support you need.

The EMBA program has been extremely beneficial, especially in terms of working alongside other students to solve real-world business challenges related to corporate social responsibility and competitive strategy. The Brewer Cursus was a great success! TUM has highly motivated lecturers who are very passionate about the subjects. The topics were all very interesting. The practical brewing process itself was very hands-on. We brewed in small groups. I was able to take away many tips and tricks for my small brewing operation I am planning to expand.

Progressive digitization in all areas of society also opens up numerous new attack surfaces. Comprehensive knowledge — both theoretical and practical — is needed to protect the entire digital infrastructure. This will enable us to transition to a secure digital society.

During my 2nd semester of the Master in Management & Innovation, I worked with Schunk GmbH, which was my first experience working in a German company. At Schunk’s R&D lab, I chose the topic which was always close to my heart – automobiles and what the future of mobility would look like. And I learned more than that as I experienced what it is like to work the German way – the sheer will to innovate and the perseverance it takes to constantly be ahead.

One of the great things about the program is you can exchange idea with experts at eye level. Whether in short inspirational lectures or half-day course modules, there is always a great discussion based on vivid, real-life examples. This is a kind of emotional learning, not a purely abstract transfer of knowledge, as you know it from other training courses.
