What I particularly liked about this course is that it was not industry-specific, which allowed me to learn how other industries use Blockchain. Also, the course provides excellent foundational knowledge in each module. The group exercise and case study were also excellent ways to apply our new knowledge and solidify our understanding of the material. The coursework teaches important theories and frameworks, for example identifying trends in the market and creating solutions for these opportunities. Networking during and after my study experience in Paris and Munich was extremely beneficial for both my personal and professional development.

Being part of the Alumni Association is the logical post-program step to foster relations and learnings of the active studies. Every network is as strong as its members are. As a coopted member of the Alumni Board, I want to contribute with my work to motivate fellow students and Alumni to engage in and initiate own alumni networking actions.

The course contributed an important boost to personal growth, and a path to new relationships. It exposed me to a rich combination of the science and practice of brewing. Engaging on-line presentations were followed by two, intensive, on-site sessions of three days each.

The EMBA program has been extremely beneficial, especially in terms of working alongside other students to solve real-world business challenges related to corporate social responsibility and competitive strategy. This intense and inspiring experience has allowed for a great opportunity to test and practice ideas while also having fun.

I am delighted that the new certificate program “Patient Safety” has been launched by TUM’s Medical Faculty and the Klinikum rechts der Isar in close cooperation with TUM Campus Straubing, the Klinikum St. Elisabeth Straubing and Lufthansa Aviation Training. Due to the advances made in the digitalization of medicine and the increasingly complex processes involved in treatment, the topic of patient safety is becoming ever more important in our clinics and hospitals. The interdisciplinary partnership of medicine, research and business holds the promise of innovative and dynamic strategies for the responsible handling of risks posed by modern medicine.

As technological progress is advancing faster, the ethical and moral aspects of technology need more attention and transparent, educated public discourse is crucial to foster sustainable and responsible innovation!

One of the most valuable and rewarding experiences during the Executive MBA program has been being able to expand my professional network with extraordinary people from across industries, and different disciplines. I was able to gain new insights from their diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.

The most valuable gains from the program came from its rich program content delivered by outstanding professors and guest speakers. Strategic business management, innovation, financials, business ethics and personal development are now key in my role as a leader and coach. I would absolutely go for this program again! Many of the approaches and ideas were immediately useful in my corporate job. Before the Executive MBA, I thought of myself as an intrapreneur. Actually, I never had serious plans to found my own business. This seed was planted in Garching, and the plant is growing: What initially started as my final thesis topic within the program led to founding the medtech start-up Lab E GmbH.

The program provided an excellent environment to learn new methods how to consider unforeseeable changes in the competitive environment. I liked especially the opportunities to reflect the learning with practical examples, and the personal coaching for an own case.

This course is a great chance to gain valuable experience in related challenges and problems as well as to acquire an understanding how to best apply and execute tools and concepts of vocational training.

This program has given me access to a network with extensive expertise and experience. It is the ideal space to ask critical questions, discuss current developments and think outside the box. Although only a few months have passed since the end of the program, this network has already supported me in several projects.

The program helped me to make our whole business concept way more scalable. We successfully developed our company from a consulting business to a technology driven business.
